Tamer is a title awarded when you complete the Pet Battle meta-achievement [Taming Azeroth], earned by defeating every Pet tamer NPC to be found in Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms, Outland, Northrend and Pandaria.
The title appears before your character's name:
