Tarlo Mondan is a human war veteran who fought many battles.

History[]

At an unknown point in the past he, Griley, and eight others came across an old dwarven town while in the Wetlands. However the Horde had learned of the town as well and established their own camp. In order to eliminate the Horde forces present, Griley came up with an idea to grab anything of value and then blow it up when the orcs approached. The orcs being suspicious, sent in goblins to check things out and when they dug deep enough Griley blew the goblins up. With the orcs distracted Griley, Tarlo, and the others tossed their ropes over the west gate and sneaked out.

When the Pandaria campaign began, Tarlo was one among the first people to join the campaign. When the Pandaria campaign ended, Tarlo was somewhat bitter. While noticing that Orgrimmar was breached and Garrosh Hellscream was in chains, he was also quick to note that Pandaria had been ravaged. He was also convinced that once the new Warchief got settled in that there would be another war between the Alliance and the Horde.

While returning home the ship Patron's Pride a storm at sea forced Tarlo overboard nearly making him drown. After reaching the surface he saw the Patron's Pride leaving but understood that turning out for one soldier in a storm like this was foolhardy. As he remarked to himself, "Better one man overboard than a hundred."

While searching for a way to keep himself afloat he noticed three pandaren anglers, Mei Pa, Kuo, and Shi Ga, who were quick to bring him abroad their boat. After rescuing him, they invited Tarlo to fish with them and each took turns in telling the tale of Xun. After hearing the end of the tale, Tarlo was able to find a measure of peace as he fished alongside them.[1]
