Biography[]

WoW-novel-logo-16x62 This section concerns content related to the Warcraft novels, novellas, or short stories.

At some point, Telagos was approached by Greydon Thorne of the Order of the Seven Suns to safeguard a crystal shard from the Diamond Blade in a cave northeast from Lakeshire in Redridge Mountains. He did so for several years until the friends of Greydon's son, Aramar Thorne found the cave. Unbeknownst to Aram, he had sketched the same dragon. That is how Makasa Flintwill and the others found him. At first, they charged at each other, but Makasa recognized the dragon in Aram's sketchbook and showed it to the dragon, catching his attention. Once he changed to his humanoid form, and mistakenly froze Murky beneath the cave's water, he listened to their story and believed them upon hearing about Greydon. Rescuing the murloc, he decided to leave the cave and join Makasa's group. Immediately, Telagos and the bookish Galena Stormspear became good friends.

Later, after Makasa learned the truth about Reigol Valdread being her father and ran away from a glade near Lakeshire, the group sent Telagos to find her. He located her at the Lakeshire quarry. She was looking inside because she had found the final crystal shard of the blade. Telagos used his magic to retrieve it from the water.

When the group planned their next steps to free Aramar and Greydon, Telagos offered to guide them to the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands. Where Makasa's group reunited with friends and allies from Kalimdor, most of who were surprised to see a blue dragon. During the march on the Hidden citadel in the Hellfire Peninsula on Outland, Telagos, the wyverns One-Eye and her three cubs, and the fastest Woodpaw gnolls went ahead to scout the way to Falcon Watch.

When the Feral Scar yetis and the gnolls fought in the citadel's valley, Telagos waited for Makasa to signal the Everstill murlocs to join the fray. When Murky called his brethren, Telagos emerged from behind a bank of clouds, the dragon charged and breathe his frost magic at the Burning Legion demons, sealing them off from retreat.

Upon reaching the top chamber, he and Galena worked together to eliminate the felbats called by Malus. Makasa's friends had been successful and released the Thornes who now fought against Malus. After Malus was killed by Makasa, Greydon noticed his old friend, Telagos, praising him that he was once again helping the Order of the Seven Suns.

Afterward, they all returned to Azeroth and said goodbye to each other. Telagos and Galena accompanied the Woodpaws and Feral Scars back to Feralas, and then they turned north to the Moonglade. Traveling with the dragon helped Galena be more confident. In the Moonglade, Telagos spend several days studying the Cenarion Circle druids, and the druids studied him.

Almost one year later following the battle at the Hidden citadel, the young friends reunited at the Forever Tree in the Stonetalon Mountains to honor it and the dryad Taryndrella. Later, Makasa told them that there's a surprise for them on a shore south of the Charred Vale, so they began their journey there. After a bit, Murky complained of sore feet, so Telagos transported them. On the shore, they found Makasa's new ship, the Dryad, and the young travelers boarded it.[1]

Notes[]

  • Telagos found human culinary fascinating and awed at the complex design of a mandolin when staying with the Glades.
  • Telagos was quite taken by the high elf Elmarine.
