Telo was an AddOn developer in WoW's earliest days until Wrath of the Lich King. Some of their works were originally distributed throgh the WoW forums, but then became amongst the oldest projects on CurseForge.

Some features were later integrated into the game itself, such as the ability to cast spells on oneself by pressing a self-cast key or when casting friendly spells without a friendly target.

Community recognition

  • Titled the "Prophet of War" in 2004 for his extensive experimental work on the World of Warcraft AddOns, donating much of this work to Cosmos, and being highly regarded in both the community at large and among UI Developers for his very flexible work.

AddOns

BottomBar
Added a 24 button bar that sat above the default action bar.
BuffTimers
Added timers to buffs and debuffs before these were integrated into the default UI.
Clock
Showed the server time in a small window at the top of the screen.
InfoBar
Provided a framework for incorporating simple plugins into a movable bar. The included sample plugins display money, time, frame rate, ping, health regen, mana regen, map coords, DPS, bag space, and energy recharge.
ItemBuff
Displayed a small, moveable window that shows your current weapon buff or buffs, including time and charges remaining.
LootLink
Gave a browseable and searchable in game item database that records every item that you come across in game.
MobHealth
Tracked an estimate for the current and maximum health of mobs. The estimate is remembered and becomes more accurate the more you fight that mob.
QuickLoot
Moved the loot window so that the next lootable item or the UI arrow to move to the next page is under your cursor as you loot.
SelfCast
Adds self-targeting, either by use of the alt key or automatically.[1]
SideBar
Added 24 buttons in two moveable, resizable columns.
