Please note that the fields below all pertain to the World of Warcraft MMORPG, although some may come from official sources of lore and should be cited.

Valid field entries
  • faction: Alliance, Horde, or Neutral based on the MMORPG only (default Neutral)
  • name: town name (default PAGENAME).
  • ss: ideal picture of the town [optional]
  • caption: screenshot caption [optional]
  • type: the type of town. Examples: City, Village, Camp
  • pop: total population of the town
  • lpop: last known population of the town
  • race: races within the town. Population breakdown for each race in parenthesis [optional]. Please use the following separated by line breaks (<br />):

  • frace: races that used to be in the town [only use if race parameter is used]
  • government: list type of government [optional]
  • leader: list only if there is a recognized leader of that specific town [optional]
  • fleader: a list of former leaders of that specific town [only use if leader parameter is used]
  • language: languages within the town [optional]
  • faith: faiths within the town [optional]
  • resource: resources within the town [optional]
  • affiliation: the affiliation of the zone, usually the faction that controls it [optional]
  • faffiliation: the former affiliations of the town [only use if affiliation parameter is used]
  • organizations: the organizations that hold this town as their base of operations [optional]
  • loc: location of zone, or if not known then the general area of zone in relation to the rest of the continent
  • status: what is the current status of the town. Examples: Active, abandoned, evacuating, destroyed [optional]
  • facilities: used to show the normal facilities [optional]
    • inn: has an inn, yes/no
    • mailbox: has a mailbox, yes/no
    • stables: has a stable master, yes/no
    • anvil: has an anvil and forge, yes/no
    • bank: has a bank, yes/no
    • auctions: has an auction house, yes/no
  • trainers: used to show the if town contains trainers [optional]
    • class: has a class trainer, yes/no
    • profession: has a profession trainer, yes/no
  • travel: used to show the traveling options [optional]
    • flightpath: has a flight master, yes/no
    • boat: has a boat, zeppelin or other mass-transit options, yes/no
    • portal: has a permanent portal that leads out, yes/no
