Template:World drop

Template for adding a descriptive opener on world drop item pages. Also puts pages in a Category:World drops subcategory based on what is put in the "expac" parameter.

Syntax

Horizontal:

{{world drop|rarity=|expac=|zone=|zone2=|zone3=|chest=|lockbox=|lockbox2=|lockbox3=}}

Vertical:

Parameters

rarity=

string (one of: poor, common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary. Required.)

expac=

string (one of: WoW, TBC, BC, Wrath, WotLK, Cata, MoP, Warlords, WoD, Legion, BfA. defaults to WoW if not defined)

zone=

string (Wowpedia page name for a zone. do not include brackets. generally you'll want to pick the zone where an item is most common)

zone2=

string (to add a second zone)

zone3=

string (to add a third zone)

chest=

flag ("yes" if item can appear in treasure chests. if not, delete this parameter)

lockbox=

string (Wowpedia page name for a lockbox. do not include brackets)

lockbox2=

string (to add a second lockbox)

lockbox3=

string (to add a third lockbox)

Examples

PAGENAME is a rare world drop item; it can be dropped by mobs or found inside chests in old world zones such as Darkshore and Azshara. It can also be found inside  [Ornate Bronze Lockbox].

PAGENAME is an epic world drop item; it can be dropped by mobs in Wrath of the Lich King zones such as Storm Peaks, Icecrown, and Icecrown Citadel.
