new races,

I really want San'layn present as a minor race, well YES their leader (Dreven) got killed but there is still San'Layn within the horde. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by H49 swe (talk · contr).

Sure, why not ... When blizzard adds them as an allied race :p Xporc (talk) 09:47, 15 October 2018 (UTC)

Allied races

Zandalari trolls are an allied race, not a "other" race. — SurafbrovWowpedia's wiki representative T / C 19:23, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

Zandalari

Can someone add IconSmall Talanji.gif Talanji as leader and Dazar'alor in the Allied cities. Thanks  Horde IconSmall Gorfax.gifSargerasDoomhammer Talk Contributions 02:33, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Humans for Other Race?

Brought this up on the slack, but, should we put Humans up there for the other race part? Fogsail and Ashvane have now thrown their lot in with them. Fogsail also has people like First Mate Malone, who wears a Horde tabard and says "For the Horde!" (Granted, it's more 'For money...and the Horde!' but that's about as valid as your standard Bilgewater Goblin battlecry who sometimes sans the Horde part entirely). We've got Leper Gnomes listed up there and to my knowledge there's only like three named Leper Gnomes, mostly Forsaken workers, and that leper gnome slave sweatshop in Silvermoon. --Berenal (talk) 16:53, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

Interesting. The comparison with leper gnomes does somehow make me lean towards yeah.
Alternatively, maybe, we could wait a bit till we see what happens with the Fogsails after BfA (if they stay allied with the Horde or not)? --Mordecay (talk) 17:06, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
Well we can just update it later on if they end up dropping ship. We've done that before and it'd be a two second edit, I'd think we should prioritize being accurate in the current at the least. --Berenal (talk) 17:37, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
I'd rather remove the leper gnomes from the infobox and keep humans out tbh. Now, if this happened, I'd gladly have humans on the infobox ... Xporc (talk) 17:42, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
While I agree entirely on that I still think that as they stand they do constitute an 'other races' mention. They're about as affiliated as the Mok'nathal are. I know there's the hesitation cause it's the core alliance race but this is the weird hand we've been dealt. I still think it's jarring that Kul Tiras of all nations was the one who opened this floodgate, considering Daelin, but whatever here we are. --Berenal (talk) 17:55, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
I'm in agreement with Xporc on this one. Just because a tiny group allies with (not joins) the Horde (or Alliance, for that matter) doesn't mean their race should be listed in the infobox as a part of that faction. The Mok'nathal are a slightly special case, because while they're a small group they're also the only group of their race. There really aren't any unaffiliated Mok'nathal. One good counter-example would be that we don't have orcs in the Alliance infobox despite the existence of the Shadowmoon Exiles. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:03, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
The shadowmoon exiles aren't the same, though. They don't aid the Alliance/the Horde can interact with them as neutrals as well. IIRC there's a quest from the village you can pick up as Horde or Alliance. As for my comparison to the Mok'nathal, they're not explicitly stated to be Horde as a whole, only Rexxar. Keep in mind that Rexxar's father disowned him for even joining the Horde. They might be friendly to Horde players but that could symbolize an alliance/working with a familiar group. Not that they're members outside of a single character. --Berenal (talk) 19:14, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
There's also the Grimtotem allies in Stonetalon. Tbh, I would only add formal Horde organizations in the template, not affiliated. If the Leper Gnomes are part of the Forsaken then they should be in the infobox, if not no. Same with the Fogsail, if they are just friends but not part of the Horde then nothing. --Ryon21 (talk) 19:16, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
Which is fair but then we need to change the Alliance infobox to include a few other races as well. Renzik "The Shiv" and Beezil Linkspanner fit the criteria of the leper gnome inclusion for Goblins.--Berenal (talk) 21:30, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
I'd agree if there were more individuals. Renzik is clearly affiliated with the SI:7, but Beezil is a strange case. He is lore-wise part of the Steamwheedle, which are a neutral faction, and then he joins Fiona's caravan, which is also a neutral group. It seems he is only affiliated with Gilneas and the Alliance just for gameplay purposes, at least for now. So with only Renzik as a unique Alliance goblin I don't think is quite enough to add goblins in the Alliance template. Maybe in the future if things change or they add more Ally goblins :shrug2: --Ryon21 (talk) 22:08, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

Capital cities

Maybe we should add what the WoW racial page says are the capital cities of the jungle trolls, Darkspear Isle, and the Bilgewater goblins, Bilgewater Harbor. Also we may add the same for the Alliance. Gnomeregan for the gnomes and Gilneas City for the worgen, with this last one crossed out like Darnassus since it is abandoned. --Ryon21 (talk) 01:23, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

Any opposition? Xporc (talk) 09:43, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
Make it so. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 14:42, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
[1] The capital city of the Darkspears is listed to be Darkspear Isle in the Annual book, not the Echo Isles. --Mordecay (talk) 18:02, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

Vulpera

Can somebody add the Vulpera info (Kiro to the leader list, the Vulpera to the allied race list, Vulpera Hideaway to allied cities) to the list?--X59 (talk) 01:36, 9 October 2019 (UTC)

Done Xporc (talk) 07:48, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
Thanks.--X59 (talk) 16:32, 10 October 2019 (UTC)

Missing leaders and the Warchief position

I noticed that Thrall, Rokhan, and Gazlowe were missing from the leader section and that Gallywix was still on the list. At same time I can't help but wonder if the three of them should be placed as secondary leaders as we don't know the Horde Council function yet. Like if it will have a central leader and what not.--X59 (talk) 03:30, 20 October 2019 (UTC)

Technically the council is 8.3 content and hasn't happened yet Xporc (talk) 07:39, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
We probably shouldn't make major changes to faction infoboxes just based on a few datamined text strings from content that isn't even available on the PTR yet. -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male.gif DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 09:18, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
That makes sense and I was jumping the gun in that regard.--X59 (talk) 15:22, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
Change "Ruling Body" to "Ruling body". --Mordecay (talk) 00:02, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

Languages

Please add the Vulpera to the languages list and remove the Low Common because that language is considered non-canon.  Horde IconSmall Gorfax.gifSargerasDoomhammer Talk Contributions 17:55, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

Notable factions / Horde Council

Please add the Zandalari Empire, the Mag'har Clans and the Voldunai to the notable factions list and the horde icon next to the horde council: Horde Horde Council. Thanks  Horde IconSmall Gorfax.gifSargerasDoomhammer Talk Contributions 15:21, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
