In an alternate timeline where Thrall died as an infant, King Terenas Menethil was killed when Aedelas Blackmoore's personal army conquered Lordaeron after the Battle of Blackrock Spire. His son Arthas Menethil and Prince Varian Wrynn were too young to battle and escaped. With the king dead, Aedelas became the self-proclaimed King of Lordaeron, with Kel'Thuzad as his advisor.
