Tharbek was a fierce young orc warrior and a subchieftain under Orgrim Doomhammer during the Second War. After Orgrim learned about the betrayal of Gul'dan from Torgus, Tharbek reported the loss of the passages in the Alterac Mountains. The Horde then retreated back to Blackrock Spire, Tharbek accompanying them and battling there against the Alliance.[1] As he was not seen again, it is presumed that he perished during the battle.
Trivia[]
- Tides of Darkness previously stated that Tharbek was Orgrim's second in command. Ask CDev retconned this by making Varok Saurfang the second in command (which World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 3 confirmed), leaving the role of Tharbek unclear.
