The Gift of Cheese is a profession achievement earned by sharing the Recipe Rat's greatest recipe, 
[Charitable Cheddar], with hungry rats across Azeroth.
Dragon Isles cooks with at least 50 skill can acquire 
[Ratcipe: Charitable Cheddar] by finding the Squeaking Swiss at [52.4, 26.8] inside a crate in the Obsidian Rest of northern Zaralek Cavern, not far from Koshlahki, the cooking supplies vendor, to pick up the [Recipe Rat]. With some 
[Fine Aged Cheddar] available, use the item on cooldown to pick up 2-7 scraps, then combine 30 scraps into the recipe.

Making 50 servings will require roughly:
- 50x [Fine Aged Cheddar], sold by many vendors, including Elaine Trias in Stormwind City and Miwana in Orgrimmar
- 20x [Spicy Sharp Cheddar], sold by Kurd Butterhoof in Thunder Totem, Highmountain [39.1, 79.1] / [46.0, 64.4]
- 20x [Zocalo Cheddar], sold by most food vendors and innkeepers on Zandalar and Xun Xun Sweetflower in Drustvar
- 10x [Gold Bars], smelted from [Gold Ore] by miners
Once that's done, find Rat critters (who must be named exactly "Rat", and not battle pets named "Rat") anywhere. Make sure to turn on the "Critters and Companions" option in ESC → Options → Interface → Names!
