Objectives

Give Grent Direhammer the closure he needs by killing Mauti.

Description

The beast that's been hunting us... I've been hunting it.

We call him Mauti. He's a clever one. But he made a grave mistake when he killed my brother. Now that mistake is going to cost him. Ol' Direhammer has got his scent.

I've noticed him roaming just above Kurzen's Compound. If we act fast, we can take him down.

Are you ready, <name>?

Completion

Looks like the real Mauti was tracking Grent Direhammer all along. Clever girl.

Notes

Grent is now following the player along with Bwemba. Head to the east into the compound. Go to the northeast corner of the compound, above and to the east of the cave.

On the ground is the corpse of "Mauti?". Grent walks up to it...

Grent Direhammer says: Let's see what we got here...

Grent Direhammer says: Hmm... The beast looks smaller than I would have thought.

A Big Cat comes up from behind, snags Grent and runs off!

Grent Direhammer yells: It's got me!

The quest completes automatically at this point.
