The Lichen King is a fungarian located in a cave with his fungal throne in Hillcrest Pasture in Stormsong Valley.

Abilities[]

Fungmourne Hungers — Fungmourne Hungers, causing all attacks to inflict additional Shadow damage for 8 sec. 1 sec cast (5 sec cooldown)
Morel Coil 40 yd range — Inflicts Shadow damage to an enemy 2 sec cast (5 sec cooldown)
The Lichen King's Command — Summons servants of the Lichen King to attack nearby enemies Channeled (6 sec). Summons... (5 sec cooldown)

The subject of this section did not make it out of the beta stages.

He and his quotes are a reference to the Lich King, Fungmourne a reference to Frostmourne, and the Fungal Throne to the Frozen Throne. His "Morel Coil" ability and [Morel Coils] loot are a pun on [Mortal Coil].
Throwing a [Sporonite Bomb] on the Lichen King after engaging him in combat awards the player with the [Clever Use of Mechanical Explosives] achievement.
During the beta, he was a rare elite.
