Objectives[]
Travel to the four Emerald Dream portals in Azeroth and collect a Fragment of the Nightmare's Corruption from each.
- [Fragment of the Nightmare's Corruption]
- [Fragment of the Nightmare's Corruption]
- [Fragment of the Nightmare's Corruption]
- [Fragment of the Nightmare's Corruption]
Description[]
You must travel to the four dream portals of Azeroth. From each you must draw a fragment of the Nightmare's corruption. The dragonkin that inhabit these areas will hold such fragments. Return to me when you have gathered these fragments.
Progress[]
<Remulos is lost deep in thought.>
Completion[]
Are you prepared? Is the world prepared for what we are about to invoke? I do not know... I am bound by duty to Malfurion. Duty and honor...
Notes[]
Recently (post 3.0?), the drop rates have been increased to nearly 100% off the trash in the non-Duskwood areas.
The fragments from Bough Shadow (Ashenvale), and Seradane (Hinterlands) will only require a group in order to safely kill the green dragonkin wandering the area. The dragonspawn in Dream Bough (Feralas) can be solo-pulled and are thus soloable.
The fragment from Twilight Grove (Duskwood) will require a raid as the Twilight Corrupter was originally tuned as a 40-man raid. See his page for a strategy to kill him.
Progression[]
This is part of the [Green Scepter Shard] fork of [The Scepter of the Shifting Sands] quest chain:
- [60] Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream
- [60] Tyrande and Remulos
- [60R] The Nightmare's Corruption
- [60R] The Nightmare Manifests
- [60] The Champion Returns
