The People's Militia is a quest chain which may be a prerequisite for the Defias Brotherhood quest chain.^{[citation needed]}

Gryan Stoutmantle, at Sentinel Hill in Westfall offers you the opportunity to join the People's Militia. As a requirement, though, he asks you to prove yourself by defeating a number of Defias Trappers and Smugglers wreaking havoc around the Jangolode Mine, the Molsen Farm and the Furlbrow's Pumpkin Farm.

Stoutmantle now asks you to slay some of the Defias Brotherhood's more vicious thugs, the Defias Pillagers and Looters of the Gold Coast Quarry, Moonbrook and the Alexston Farmstead.

•  [17] The People's Militia

Stoutmantle's most trusted scouts report to him that some of the Defias elude the Militia, pillaging the southern countryside of Westfall. He sends you to the Dagger Hills to slay the Defias Highwaymen, Pathstalkers and Knuckledusters that plague it.

You return to Gryan, who proudly inducts you into the People's Militia.

Rewards

Should you complete all three tasks, you are inducted into the People's Militia.
