The Raven Stones is part of the Druid's Swift Flight Form quest chain.
Objectives[]
Gather 8 Raven Stones from Skettis and bring them to Arthorn Windsong at Evergrove in Blade's Edge Mountains.
- [Raven Stone] (8)
- [Cenarion Sparrowhawk Whistle] (provided)
Description[]
I've trained your sparrowhawk to respond to a specific whistle. When it hears the sound, the bird will fly to you and guide you to the location of the nearest tablet fragment. Arthorn sent word that the fragments you're looking for are buried in the Skettis area of southeastern Terokkar Forest, so the bird will wait for you there.
When you've gathered all the stones, return the whistle to Arthorn and she will see to the animal's care and release.
Convey my greetings to Arthorn when you see her.
Rewards[]
Upon completion of this quest you will gain:
- +250 reputation with Cenarion Expedition
Progress[]
Did you recover enough of the Book of the Raven for me to reconstruct it?
Completion[]
<Arthorn accepts the fragments of the Book of the Raven from you and begins piecing them together.>
Some of the characters have been worn away, but I should be able to make out most of this...
Notes[]
On completion:
- Arthorn Windsong greets the sparrowhawk that helped locate the raven stones.
- Arthorn Windsong says: It would've taken years to find the Book of the Raven without you, young sparrowhawk. Return to your home in Nagrand with our gratitude.
- Arthorn puts the fragments together into a stone tablet. (That is, the stone tablet appears.)
- Arthorn Windsong says: This is it! This is really it -- the Book of the Raven!
- Arthorn Windsong says: It's all here... how the raven's followers captured and subdued the spirits of rivals, trapping them forever within stone statues! The tablet even mentions the raven god's name -- Anzu. I'd thought it was lost to history!
- Arthorn Windsong says: There's something else here, too. After a description of a bloody battle and the downfall of the raven, there's a prophecy. Anzu will haunt the dreams of his enemies, twisting them to affect a return to this world...
- Arthorn Windsong says: The tablet has the confirmation we need, just as I thought. Now, we have to use this information to draw out and defeat this Anzu before he can do any more damage to the Emerald Dream!
- Arthorn Windsong says: Since the sparrowhawks have proven such a success in hunting down the raven stones, Watcher Elaira has trained another one to relay my voice at great distance. He can help us communicate as you investigate the bird spirits revealed in the tablet!
- The quest [70] The Eagle's Essence is now offered.
