The Spear of Durotar is the flagship of the air fleet that Garrosh Hellscream sends to the Twilight Highlands. Horde players board at the Southern Rocketway Terminus in Azshara and ride it in the Twilight Skies quest.
Upon entering the Highlands, Garrosh sends away the protective air support to attack an undefended Alliance fleet. The Spear of Durotar, along with the other zeppelins, is attacked by the twilight dragonflight, led by Deathwing. Despite fighting the dragons, the Spear and other airships are brought down near Dragonmaw Port.
