World of Warcraft

WoW Icon update.png This section concerns content related to the original World of Warcraft.

Theldurin was once a member of the Twilight's Hammer; but he lost his mind and scorned their teachings. Before he fled from them, he stole the  [Scroll of Myzrael] to keep them from freeing the insane elemental, Myzrael. The Twilight's Hammer could not catch him, but it is assumed that he hides in the Badlands, gibbering and mad. In the Badlands, enraged earth elementals stole the scroll from Theldurin, tore it up and now fight over the fragments.

Theldurin wants to get the tablet of Ryun'eh and Yagyin's Digest to find secrets that would save the living world from the “approaching doom” beneath the surface, possibly, Deathwing or maybe the Old Gods.

The Twilight's Hammer wants to find Theldurin and reclaim the scroll to bring the Lady back to them. It is possible that the cultists believe they are capable of controlling the former Titanic watcher.

For the quest "Summoning the Princess" (see Quests, below), Theldurin will ask the player to summon Myzrael before she is at full strength, defeat her, and re-imprison her beneath the surface.

Cataclysm This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.
Lucien with new friends and camp after the Cataclysm

Since the Cataclysm, Theldurin can still be found in the Badlands, but no longer insane and he tells adventurers a tale of him punching through earth elementals to reach and punch Deathwing (in his human form) in the face. He is no longer at his usual haunt, instead relocated to a small camp within the Scar of the Worldbreaker along with Martek the Exiled and Lucien Tosselwrench.

Theldurin also helps defend Sethria's Roost on Mount Hyjal against the minions of Ragnaros during the quest N [85 Daily] The Protectors of Hyjal. He can be seen riding a black ram and an ebon gryphon.

Legion This section concerns content related to Legion.

During Thousand Boat Bash, he is seen in Mirage Abyss in Thousand Needles along with Martek and Lucien.
