Thonk is an orc quest giver found just outside Razor Hill, standing atop a watch tower.
He initiates a series of quests in which players assist a series of people - 
Grandmatron Tekla, Raggaran, Misha Tor'kren and Zen'Taji - who were affected by the Shattering in what is now Southfury Watershed.
Thonk does not appear to be the brightest. After players use 
[Thonk's Spyglass] to "find" the survivors, he will say, "I see... so the trick is that you need to put the LITTLE end of the spyglass up to your eye. I'll remember that piece of information." However, when players return from completing [1-30] Watershed Patrol, the grunt will inform them that Thonk has been expecting them. It seems he learned how to use it after all. Thonk further confirms this by saying he used the 'trick' that the player taught him about the spyglass to watch their progress, and queries how the player made 'the old woman' ( Grandmatron Tekla) fly.
During the first Azerothian Kosh'harg in Razor Hill, he was looking at the town, instead of western Durotar.
