Thundering Pandaren Spirit is a grand master Pet Tamer located in the mountains on the border between Kun-Lai Summit and Vale of Eternal Blossoms near Shrine of Two Moons in Pandaria. It has three level 25 Elite battle pets: Darnak the Tunneler (beast), Pandaren Earth Spirit (elemental), and Sludgy (magic).

Defeating the spirit is required to complete the  [Pandaren Spirit Tamer] achievement.

Strategy

Team layout

1. Leveling Pet: Doesn't matter (even if level 1).  [Elekk Plushie] is recommended for the achievement.
2. Snail / Whelk with the following abilities: [Absorb], [Acidic Goo], [Dive]. Note: This pet is supposed to die in this stratagy.
3.  [Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling] (must be Rare) with the following abilities: [Breath], [Bombing Run], [Decoy]

Trivia

• One of the spirit's pets, Darnak the Tunneler, is one of only three examples of moles as animals in World of Warcraft. The others are the Long-tailed Mole and  [Dead Mole]. Darnak has a rat model, but its portrait depicts a mole.
