In World of Warcraft, players and mobs use a variety of non-magical trap-nets:

•  [Blackwhelp Net] is used to trap  Wyrmcult Blackwhelps for the quest  [20-30] Whelps of the Wyrmcult.
• Electrified Nets are used by the following mobs:  Mechanized Guardian in Gnomeregan,  Amani'shi Handler in Zul'Aman, and  Mekgineer Steamrigger in The Steamvault.
•  [Draenei Fishing Net] is used on the way to Azuremyst Isle from Ammen Vale for the quest  [1-30] Red Snapper - Very Tasty!.
•  [Large Rope Net] are often used and dropped by  Defias Trappers in Westfall.
•  [Sparrowhawk Net] is used during the druid epic flying form quest chain quest   [70] To Catch A Sparrowhawk to catch a  Wild Sparrowhawk.
