Travard is a human paladin and the leader of the Tyr's Guard. He first appeared in Dalaran alongside Efrina. Both were called upon by Lord Maxwell Tyrosus.

I am Tyr's Guard. We are a secret order of paladins that have been guarding a great secret for a very long time. Unfortunately current events have caused us to end our secrecy.

 A secret order?

For centuries our order has guarded and kept hidden a sacred site, the Tomb of Tyr.

Tyr, a titan keeper, performed many valiant acts for the good of Azeroth until he was brought low by treachery and the power of the Old Gods. The treacherous Loken sent powerful C'Thraxxi to slay Tyr. He fought them off, killing one and forcing the other to flee, but it cost him his life.

Some of the vrykul that accompanied Tyr were so moved by his sacrifice they remained behind to guard his tomb. These vrykul were eventually replaced by humans, us. We have kept the world from discovering its location for a very long time... until recently.
