The Troll Destroyers are swift, ill-visaged longboats designed to cut through enemy armadas and deal damage to enemy vessels and their flying support. The savage Troll crewmen are eager to enter into combat against Alliance ships of war and hungrily await any chance to stand mast to mast against the Elven Destroyers.[1]

- Destroyers are light warships designed primarily for escort duty, patrols and hit-and-run attacks. They are the only ships that can engage targets on land, sea and air.
- Their main uses are to intercept enemy Transports and protect your own, and to defend against Gryphon Riders. If supported by a Zeppelin, they are also useful for hunting down enemy Submarines.
- They can be used to bombard the enemy shoreline, but their short range and relatively weak cannons mean they will not fare well against any serious opposition, such as Towers or Ballistas.
- They should avoid direct confrontations with enemy Battleships; while their speed can allow them to delay the Battleships for a while, their firepower is simply no match - expect to lose around 4 Destroyers for each Battleship.
