This article contains lore or information taken from Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and/or its manual.

Turok was the leader of a rogue band of ogres during the times of the First War. Griselda, displeased by her relationship with her father Blackhand, started an affair with Turok in defiance. Eventually, they took refuge beneath the Deadmines. Blackhand was enraged by what he saw as a betrayal and sent a group into the mines to track them down. On Blackhand's command, the ogres were wiped out and Griselda was killed.[1] It is highly probable that Turok was also killed during the battle.

Though not directly identified in Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, he was probably the ogre standing next to Griselda.

Griselda and Turok were once rumored by players to be Rexxar's parents, given that he was part orc, part ogre, but the Burning Crusade and the novelization of Beyond the Dark Portal expanded further on the background of the Mok'Nathal.
