This article contains lore or information taken from Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and/or its manual.
Turok was the leader of an outlaw band of ogres that rebelled against the Horde during the First War. Griselda, the daughter of Warchief Blackhand, at one point ran off with Turok. In response, Blackhand's forces tracked the rebels to the Deadmines and killed them.[1]
Notes[]
- Though not directly identified in Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, he is likely meant to be the unnamed Ogre unit standing next to Griselda in the mission The Dead Mines.
- It was once speculated among some players that Turok and Griselda were the parents of the half-ogre Rexxar, until The Burning Crusade and the novel Beyond the Dark Portal expanded on Rexxar's backstory.

It is entirely possible that Turok was the leader of the band of ogres that captured Anduin Lothar in The Dead Mines as they used the same hideout and the leader of the ogres that captured Lothar was never identified.
