- The twinblade is a popular item among blood elf players, its general theme (the metaphorical "rising phoenix") syncing well with their own racial philosophy. It has been seen wielded by several sin'dorei in the Warcraft universe.
- The twinblade's personal golden glow is permanent, and will override any other item enchantments cosmetically.
- Prior to the release of Legion, it was speculated that the twinblade was the in-game representation of
[Felo'melorn]. With the addition of the actual blade and story accompanying its whereabouts up to that point, this has now been debunked.
