Uncle Gao Stormstout^[1] is a pandaren that Chen Stormstout meets upon his first visit to the Stormstout Brewery in the Valley of the Four Winds. The meeting is not an amicable one, as Gao is uncharacteristically cold for a pandaren and shuns Chen due to his surname, despite being a distant Stormstout himself (however he implies his resentment goes beyond just Chen himself). Despite his demeanor, he's essentially an incompetent bumbler and his attempts at making a better brew result in the Brewery becoming overrun by invaders as he neglects the entire place.

After clearing the mess in the brewery, Gao informed Chen and Li Li about the other Stormstouts who had gone to fight the mantid. He also showed them the shrine of their direct ancestors Mab and Liao outside the brewery and told them about how Liu Lang was from Stoneplow. After repelling the mantid invasion, Chen and Gao spent some time brewing new ales.^[2]

Gao can be seen at the Celestial Court on the Timeless Isle selling brews as well as in Celestial Tournament standing next to Mung-Mung.
