  • To use elements from WoW Classic as much as possible.
  • To provide an alternative telling of WoW Classic and the years between it and Warcraft III.

Background

After the death of Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, unrest grew amidst the races of the new Horde and of the Alliance of Theramore. The peace that their leaders so much feels hollow at the aftermath of the invasion led by the half-ogre Horde champion, Rexxar.

Horde Side

Thrall detractors grew a tenfold after the Tirasi attacks. Citing the actions of Admiral Daelin Proudmoore as proof that human and orc cannot coexist, many orc clans split from the Horde to be independent. These are:

  • The Warsong clan. Now led by Orgmog Warsong, they have retreated to their holdings in Ashenvale, where they make war with the Night Elves.
  • The Shattered Hand clan. They have take Stonetalon Peak as their dwelling, where they ambush anything they can.
  • The Kalimdor branch of the

The New Horde now consists of:

  • The Frostwolf clan, whose warchief is Thrall.
  • The few remaining blademasters of the Burning Blade clan.
  • The Darkspear Trolls.
