Edit wars

If you have a disagreement with other user's edits please take it to the discussion pages rather than continuing to edit war, which will accomplish nothing. Thank you, Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 20:40, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

OK, thanks for the advice, SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 21:26, 4 August 2014 (UTC).

On that note, why do the extinct earth giants need to use the colossus icon? They just share a name, unless you know something else that connects them. Also, please discuss what you think a mag'har is. Keep the three revert rule in mind.--SWM2448 02:42, 26 August 2014 (UTC)

While the symbol of the Giants is revealed. SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 03:56, 26 August 2014 (UTC)

There does not need to be a placeholder. Especially not a misleading one.--SWM2448 04:10, 26 August 2014 (UTC)

So what?--SWM2448 05:13, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
arakkoa icon or colossus icon ? SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 11:35, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
It should be neither.--SWM2448 16:07, 26 August 2014 (UTC)

Addition

Hi there, could you add Orgrim in the First War to the table (blackrock page)? UVG suggests it was Doomhammer that led the Horde in the final raid. And I have no clue how to do that :D --Mordecay (talk) 21:29, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

Notable leaders boxes

The way that they are now, they are bulky, garish, and incorrect.--SWM2448 18:12, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

¿Why eliminates the boxes the clan leaders? If something in particular doesn't like of the boxes let me a message and I will organize based on the lore PD: only update boxes (example: http://wowpedia.org/index.php?title=Blackrock_clan&diff=next&oldid=3417644) --SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 21:23, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

They could be improved, but these edit wars have to stop. You can not just tell me to stop removing them. There has to be a good reason.--SWM2448 21:28, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

It seems to me to be unjustified to delete some clans boxes
example: Dragonmaw clan http://wowpedia.org/index.php?title=Dragonmaw_clan&diff=next&oldid=3446972
Blacrock clan http://wowpedia.org/index.php?title=Blackrock_clan&diff=3459347&oldid=3417644
Bleeding Hollow clan http://wowpedia.org/index.php?title=Bleeding_Hollow_clan&diff=next&oldid=3444809
those boxes were already created (some very bad (Blacrock clan))
the only thing I did was to update them according to the information of the website: http://wowpedia.org/Horde?version=c7835fabceb03a8c7785e3ab040d90c8#Orc _Clans
the other boxes: Shadowmoon clan http://wowpedia.org/index.php?title=Shadowmoon_clan&diff=3463641&oldid=3461888
Shattered Hand clan http://wowpedia.org/index.php?title=Shattered_Hand_clan&diff=3459863&oldid=3457485
Warsong clan http://wowpedia.org/index.php?title=Warsong_clan&diff=prev&oldid=3459485
Frostwolf clan http://wowpedia.org/index.php?title=Frostwolf_clan&diff=3459382&oldid=3459073
I made those boxes based on information from the website: http://wowpedia.org/Horde?version=c7835fabceb03a8c7785e3ab040d90c8#Orc _Clans
If the boxes are wrong, show me the error and I fix it, but not delete the boxes please, the information is very important. Thank you
--SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 23:03, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
Sandwichman, ¿I can continue with the boxes?, I will make sure to follow the history of leadership of the clans in the best possible way. I wait your answer, thanks. --SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 13:01, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

Alright, let us start with Shadowmoon. Why is Teron Gorefiend their leader in TBC, but Overlord Or'barokh the leader after that?--SWM2448 15:47, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

For Shattered Hand, why is Kargath the leader in two Hordes at once and why is Gordul the leader after Cataclysm?--SWM2448 15:51, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
The case of the Shadowmoon clan was a error of my part, but now was fixed: Shadowmoon Leaders
The case of Kargath was a error of my part: |colspan="9" |None -----> |colspan="11" |None, but now was fixed. Gordul is the leader after Cataclysm according the quest Meet with Gordul, added in patch 4.0.3.

--SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 22:23, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

Before the Cataclysm, the Orgrimmar branch of the Shattered Hand may have been led by Shenthul or Jes'rimon. It is debated whether or not Shadowmoon Village is part of the clan or not. If so, Or'barokh is probably the leader. As they are now, they are correct but very sparse.--SWM2448 23:50, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

WoD pages

Please stop creating Warlords of Draenor pages for characters who do not appear in Warlords of Draenor. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:50, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Sargeras founded the legion of the original timeline, if there is a legion on this line should have a sargeras which founded it, clear with unknown status and location --SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 20:29, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
Do not recreate the page without adequately defending its existence.--SWM2448 21:28, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
SargerasDoomhammer, that is an enormously slippery slope that would lead to dozens of completely useless pages. Yes, Sargeras obviously exists in the other universe. Is that version of Sargeras in any way, shape, or form different from our own? Does he do anything, say anything, or appear anywhere different from our own? If the answer is no, then there's no reason for him to have an alternate page that would be, for all intents and purposes, an exact copy of his normal page. AU versions of pages are for characters who actively appear in the expansion, to document what their AU version does differently from their MU version. If they don't ever show up in Warlords of Draenor, then there's no need for a Warlords of Draenor page. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:21, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
http://wod.wowhead.com/mission=126, The sargerai a small faction of draenei has embraced the worship of Sargeras (A cult to Sargeras in the time line or universe B, not a cult to Sargeras in the time line or universe A).
¿Why the page Sargeras (Warlords of Draenor) is required?, because this vinculated to the Sargerai cult, an important factor in the expansion.
--SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 22:39, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
Just because the cult exists doesn't mean Sargeras himself is involved and doing anything. In fact, timeline-wise, he'd still be possessing Medivh on Azeroth and thus incapable of doing anything on Draenor anyway. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 16:17, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Is not 100% sure, kairoz said it "This is the perfect timeway for us. Not a perfect mirror image, but perfect nonetheless", Sargeras page (Warlords of Draenor) can be created as an speculation --SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 23:35, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
We don't create pages for speculation. If Sargeras makes an appearance in Warlords of Draenor, we can create a page for him then. Otherwise, there's no point in having a WoD page for any character if there's no actual information for how they differ from their MU counterpart. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:54, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Very well, I will wait a mention or something (a tweet a fragment in a novel, a short story) important related with sargeras in wod to create the page. PS: what I meant with speculation was http://wowpedia.org/Category:Speculation.
Other thing, DarkTZeratul, you could me help to create a FactionIcon similar to the shaohao faction, but for the iron Horde : http://wowpedia.org/Template:FactionIcon, thank you for the answer --SargerasDoomhammer (talk) 03:06, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
I'm afraid I'm not the one who creates those, sorry. I'm actually not sure who does, either, come to think of it. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 05:39, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
Why would it be needed. Shaohao (not sure we need that either, serves no purpose). Aldor and Scryers had a reason behind them, factions we can ally with have reason behind them. The Iron Horde is always hostile so the combat icon is fine. Please use that one. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 07:12, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

Ishanah

Hello, since you keep reverting Ishanah's icon for no reason, could you clarify why? Ishanah is indeed with the Alliance as per Wolfheart and the UVG.--Mordecay (talk) 23:30, 11 March 2015 (UTC)

Hellheim

Hello, In the presentation it was written as Helheim. MMO-champ has both Hellheim and Helheim. Let's keep Blizzard's name because it is probably a typo on MMO's part... If that's the source you are working with.--Mordecay (talk) 13:59, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

Lorna Crowley

Even if Lorna Crowley appears to be in Legion according to Wowhead, we cannot be sure. It's only the Alpha and it's too early for such speculation. The same applies for Gilneas Brigade. — SurafbrovWowpedia's wiki representative T / C 23:15, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
