The Vault of the Earth is a vault located in southeastern Tanaan Jungle, between Zorammarsh, Hellfire Citadel, Thundertail Wallow and Fang'rila. It is inhabited by the Guardians of the Vault, an order of orc shaman who, along with a group of furies, are guarding the Cipher of Damnation behind a wall of fire.
Following Gul'dan's attack on the Vault and retrieval of the Cipher, most of the shaman were severely injured, and Lagar the Wise was killed.
