Verius was a pit lord who, in the guise of a human, traveled to a chapel to speak to a priest named Father Rammel, whom he hoped could be manipulated to allow him to infiltrate the Silver Hand. Having seen through his disguise with the aid of a magical amulet, a female elf within the chapel revealed that both she and "Rammal" were in fact blood elves, a race highly sensitive to magic. They swifty killed Verius and feasted on his magical energy.Template:Cite
