Vindicator Sedai is a draenei vindicator who was mysteriously murdered after attempting to negotiate peace with a group of Mag'har orcs. As a result, Sedai's Corpse can be found at the Mag'har Grounds by Alliance adventurers.
He was described by his brother as an idealist.[2]
Background[]
Sedai left the Temple of Telhamat to try to negotiate peace with the orcs of the nearby Mag'har Post. His brother, Anchorite Obadei, began to worry when Sedai didn't return for some time, so he sent an adventurer to find him. They discovered Sedai's corpse and delivered the bad news to Obadei.
Makuru was enraged at Sedai's death and asked the adventurer to enact vengeance by killing several Mag'har grunts. Anchorite Obadei chastised Makuru, as this went against Sedai's ideals.[1] Wanting to shed some light on the situation, Obadei sent the adventurer to Amaan the Wise.[3]
Amaan lent the adventurer an item called the Seer's Relic and asked them to return to Sedai's corpse with it. Though the relic didn't have the power to reveal the past, it could grant a vision showing a likely series of events. In this vision, Sedai was escorted from the village by two Mag'har orc guards, who swore they'd kill him if he ever came back. He lamented that peace was impossible. As the orcs turned to head back to their village, a pair of fel orc Laughing Skull Ambushers attacked. The ambushers killed one of the Mag'har orcs, but Sedai was able to help the other fight them off. Victory was short-lived, however; as Sedai knelt before the Mag'har orc's corpse and wondered if there was anything he could do to stop the cycle of bloodshed, Krun Spinebreaker appeared and finished off both Sedai and the other Mag'har orc.
It's unknown if the events shown in the vision are what really happened, but Amaan hoped that it might lead the adventurer to consider other possibilities, rather than making an assumption and believing it the truth.[4]

Whilst unstated, the unusual hostility of the Mag'har in the vision could've been due to the Murkblood tribe of Broken draenei massacring the Mag'har town of Sunspring.[5]
