Volcor before the Cataclysm
Volcor is a night elf originally found in the Blackwood Den cave in Darkshore. After being wounded by the Blackwood furbolgs, he sent Grimclaw to find Terenthis. Terenthis then directed an Alliance adventurer to help Volcor to return to Auberdine.
After the Cataclysm, Volcor was found wounded near Auberdine.
Volcor then sent adventurers to save his beloved Grimclaw, and the adventurer was successful in finding and treating his injuries. Upon returning to Lor'danel, Volcor succumbed to his wounds. He did, however, live long enough to see Grimclaw return in good health; with his faithful companion at his bedside, he passed away with a smile on his face.
Upon his death, his soul was sent to Ardenweald where he appears in Root-Home in his soulshape as a bear.
