This article contains lore or information taken from Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and/or its manual.
In Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, ranks are titles given to the player at the end of the mission which indicate how well you did in battle. Factors which affect your score (and hence your title) include gold and lumber harvesting, building buildings and training units. Losing units reduces your score. A victorious mission results in a +600 to the player's score while a failed mission results in a +50 to the player's score.
