Inv egg 03
Terky

Terky

The White Murlog Egg item teaches you to summon Terky, a white baby murloc companion. Terky is notable for being the only baby murloc companion available to players outside of special promotions.

White Murloc Egg cave entrance

The entrance to the cave

This item was originally obtained through an iCoke promotion quest N [1] Redeem iCoke Prize Voucher which was only available in Taiwan. It has since been made available in game for players in the rest of the world. A cave in the Borean Tundra at the Riplash Ruins (mouth at [55.7, 88.1]VZ-Borean TundraBlip) with a small underwater entrance, houses a big pearl and some rubble in which the Egg can be found. The lootable egg is not on the central shrine, but at [54.7, 89.3]VZ-Borean TundraBlip off to the south in a nest.

If it's difficult to see, consider logging out and back in.

Pet Journal[]

Terky is as shy as she is adorable, preferring the company of close friends over new ones.

Trivia[]

While the White Murloc Egg had been in the game's data for some time as a promotional item in Asia, it was not widely discovered to be obtainable in the Borean Tundra until 17 October 2015. The discovery was swiftly announced by fan-sites,[1][2] prompting a large number of players to immediately seek out the cavern where the egg is located. On many servers, the sudden influx of dozens or even hundreds of players made it impossible for newcomers to find and loot the Egg, resulting in ever-growing crowds - some still seeking the elusive item, and others celebrating this impromptu gathering with a riot of toys and S.E.L.F.I.E.s. Some PvP servers saw substantial battles as Alliance and Horde players fought for control of the cavern.
