Winds of Wisdom was an experience boost buff that was applied to all player characters at level 119 or below from 20 March 2020 through to the release of the Shadowlands pre-patch, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.[1][2] The [Impressive Influence] buff eventually followed.
The buff returned with 50% (down from 100%) on 20 July 2022, lasting through August 1st in preparation for Shadowlands Season 4.[3] And once again on 4 October 2022, lasting until Dragonflight's pre-expansion patch.[4]
