World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic (shortened as BC Classic) is a server option for The Burning Crusade announced at BlizzConline.
Characters on progression realms will be able to continue forward to Outland while characters on era realms will continue on World of Warcraft: Classic. Players will also have the option to pay to create a copy of their character in order to continue playing on both realms.
Release
Like with World of Warcraft: Classic, content in Burning Crusade Classic will be released in phases:
- Phase 1: At launch, Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, and Magtheridon's Lair will be available.
- Phase 2: The Eye and Serpentshrine Cavern
- Phase 3: Battle for Mount Hyjal and Black Temple
- Phase 4: Zul'Aman
- Phase 5: Quel'Danas and Sunwell Plateau
