It's all making sense now.
<Name>, I believe that Shandris is reliving certain key moments from her life. The missing dream spirit bonded with her--like Cyanthesa said.
It's not malicious, but the spirit and Shandris are feeding of each others' fears and traumas. We have to bring her back to the camp. Shae'lune might be able to help her.
Talk to her. Maybe appeal to her logic? She seems to be more accepting of you.

I thought now that we had finished the task, the mask was off, and we were never really partners.
