The 2007 WoWWiki BlizzCon Invitation was a coming up in time for BlizzCon 2007 (August 3rd and 4th). WoWWiki and Wikia are sponsoring two lucky site contributors to go to BlizzCon!

We're opening this invitation up to the whole community, however there are a few qualifications you have to meet to be eligible


To qualify for this sponsorship you must:

  • Have more than 100 edits on WoWWiki as of 6/8 at 12AM UTC
  • Live in the United States
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Attend the meetings and press interviews organized by Wikia and Blizzard

How to sign up

If you meet the qualifications, please nominate yourself by adding your name and a short statement here about why you want to go.

What you will be doing

Wikia will cover the cost for a round-trip flight from anywhere in the U.S. to Anaheim, California, two nights at a hotel of Wikia's choosing, and provide tickets to the event. You will be responsible for all other costs incurred (i.e meals, transportation, etc)

While there, you will meet with some of the marketing folks at Blizzard and do a few press interviews (Wikia will set these up), wear a WoWWiki T-Shirt, and talk non-stop about how awesome this community is!

Remember, at the con, Blizzard is offering free beta keys for an unannounced Blizzard game. (see BlizzCon News. BlizzCon News, Blizzard Entertainment, 5 June 2007).
