If you are looking for a way to help the wiki, one good way is to contribute your time to the projects being worked on by users of Wowpedia.

Convert all appropriate tables to "darktable" - see WP:MOS#Tables for guidelines.
Fix article message boxes - see WP:MOS#Article message boxes for guidelines.
Clean up the Newbie guides - especially formatting, naming and combined format.
