Wrathion is one of the two heirs of Neltharion that are vying to become the next dragon aspect of the black dragonflight. Players can choose to support either Sabellian or Wrathion each week in the world quest [70EWQ] Allegiance to One, unlocking new weekly quest options. Supporting one does not lock out the other, with rewards for getting both to exalted.

The Wrathion reputation can be raised by doing weekly quests in the Obsidian Citadel region of the Waking Shores. Outside of these quests, players can repeatedly farm the Djaradin in the area; obtaining Key Framings and [Key Fragments]. Restoring these keys will grant a [Greater Obsidian Key] once each week, which can be turned into the chosen dragon for the week. Every subsequent restoration will create a [Restored Obsidian Key], which can be turned into Sabellian for 250 reputation.

The reputation also accepts [Sargha's Signet], which randomly drop from the Djaradin mobs for 50 reputation each. These marks can also be sold on the Auction House; allowing enterprising players a shortcut to reputation. They will not, however, accept [Mark of Sargha], which is for the Sabellian reputation; so be careful which is obtained.

Every 20 keys turned into Sabellian will cause the Shas'ith rare to be unlocked. Killing the rare will reward an additional 250 reputation every time it is slain.

Wrathion's reputation holds 6 ranks, each of which requires 8,400 reputation to rank through. Starting at Acquaintance, the player will rank through the following sequentially: Cohort, Ally, Fang, Friend, True Friend. Completing quests and returning keys for Sabellian and Wrathion will also reward Valdrakken Accord reputation.
