Zaj'tal was a naga spellcaster. He once attacked and defeated a night elf sentry guarding an Alliance encampment, claiming he would disfigure the sentry's face and enjoy doing so.[1]

Later, while searching for a scepter, Zaj'tal has his minions destroy a night elf village. He then battles a pandaren wardancer, Shinjo Greatpaw, who had friends in that village.[2]
