Zekhan[1] is a jungle troll shaman who participated in the Battle for Lordaeron. His father was Hekazi, a fighter of the Third War who fought alongside Varok Saurfang and he would tell Zekhan how Saurfang could slaughter ten enemies with a single blow. When he became of age, he joined the Horde's war effort at the start of the Battle for Azeroth.
He would be stationed at the Ruins of Lordaeron, overseeing the camping Alliance forces. There he would meet with Saurfang and tell him about dying with honor and glory. Saurfang disagreed with this principle as there was no honor and glory in this war. Thus, he decided to go meet the Alliance head on. Zekhan would rush to Saurfang and convinced him to return back behind the walls.[2]
He was present during the battle for Lordaeron, fighting in front of Lordaeron Keep,[3] but it's unknown if he survived.

Notes & trivia
- Before his name was revealed, he was given the nickname "Zappyboi" by the community due to his impressive lightning attacks in the Battle for Azeroth cinematic. His actual name was first mentioned on Twitter by Blizzard developers shortly after the release of Old Soldier.
- He is voiced by Valence ThomasTwitter - Andrea Toyias - Senior Casting & Voice Director at Blizzard Entertainment</ref>.
- He is not to be confused with the troll that attacked King Anduin in the Battle for Azeroth cinematic, as that one had gray hair.
